Obituary of Sylvia MacKenzie

Please share a memory of Sylvia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia (Chipper) MacKenzie. Sylvia left us to join God’s supper table on May 21st , 2016. Chipper left a mark on every person she met, never hesitating to help those in need even if it meant she went hungry. She brought joy to the children around her with silly antics, small toys and treats. Chipper had a way of making sure you were the most important person in that moment and believed that no challenge could not be overcome. Chipper left behind eight siblings: Patti, Diane, Adrienne, Polly, Donna, Alex and Edie and Ana, a daughter and son-in-law Adrianna and Nick, two beautiful grandchildren Mackenzie and Acacia, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Chipper was a gift to all of us and will never be forgotten. Please join us for a memorial service at MacQuarries Funeral home, Stellarton on Friday May 27th at 2pm. In memory of Chipper and her unending willingness to give to others please consider making a donation in her memory to Cat Rescue Maritimes Pictou County Chapter (CARMA) or the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
