Ludwig Hans Haas age 80 of Logan Road formerly of Trenton passed away March 23rd, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Munich, Germany he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Pilbert) Haas. Ludwig came to Canada in April of 1961. He worked as the Parts Manager at Atlantic Motors from where he retired. He and his wife loved to travel and was an honorary member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club for the past 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Rotraud, Logan Road; daughter Lisa (George) Forbes, California; sons Chris (Dawn MacIsaac), Trenton; Mike (Jennifer), Logan Road; grandchildren Corey, Cody, Jason; Jeffery and Jennifer; brothers Martin and Hans; sister Hella.
He was predeceased by brothers Franz and Joseph.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service by request. Burial will take place in Gairloch Cemetery at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the IWK Hospital for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
