Ann Mary Conway, age 71, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2026.

Born in Plymouth, Ann was the daughter of the late Adrian and Johanna Post. She was a graduate of East Pictou Rural High School and the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing (1975).

In her early years Ann was a proud 4-H member and leader. She dedicated much of her life to nursing and her community. She was an active member of the Nova Scotia Nurses' Union, where she held many positions at the local level, and served as the Aberdeen and Northern Regional Representative on the Provincial Board of Directors. Ann was a Life Member of the NSNU. She was also an active member of the Aberdeen Nursing Alumnae.

Ann was involved with Conway Furs and Conway Lumber and was always interested in and supportive of the many activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She shared a special relationship with "Nanny's boys" Charlie, Timothy and Ryker.  Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children, Maria (Fraser) Morehouse; Eileen (Mike) Isaacs; Vanessa (Kevin) MacLean; Adam (Roanna) Conway; grandchildren, William (Lindsay), Shelbie (Justin); Cameron (Marley); Brennen (Becky); Taylor (Conway); Victoria.  Great Grandchildren Rory, Nora, Charlie, Timothy, Ryker, Everett, Sawyer and Theodore who each held a special place in her heart. 

Ann is survived by her siblings, Ronnie (Dorothy) Post; Gerald (Yvonne) Post; Wilma (Alex) Fraser; Jo-Ann (Brian) McCullum; Riek (Robert) Matheson; and Engelina (Kevin) Crouse. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family near and far who will cherish their memories and times spent with her.

She is also survived by her special friends, Pat and Kathy, Plymouth Flats.

Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband, Harry; niece, Karen Fraser; parents in law, William and Margaret Conway; brothers and sisters in law Hubert Conway, Jean Conway; Douglas Conway and Lena Conway. She was also predeceased by numerous family members in the Netherlands.

In lieu of flowers donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Plymouth Fire Department, Plymouth Golden Glen Club, or a charity of your choice.

A Funeral service will be held at HW Angus Funeral Home on September 2nd at 2pm, followed by a reception and celebration of life at the Plymouth Fire Hall at 4pm.

Ann will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. Her dedication to nursing, her love of family, and her caring spirit will remain a lasting part of the many lives she touched.
