Rotraud Elizabeth Haas, age, 87 of Logan Road, Pictou County passed away suddenly on June 30, 2026 at home. Born in Munich, Germany she was a daughter of the late Johann and Florence (Zuber) Aberl.

Rotraud has been a resident of Trenton and Logan Road since moving here in in 1968. She was an active member of The Church of the Nazarene in Trenton. Rotraud was a former member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club with her late husband Ludwig.

She is survived by sons Mike (Jennifer) Haas, Logan Road; Chris Haas (Dawn MacIssac), Trenton; daughter Lisa (George) Forbes, Scotsburn; grandchildren Corey, Cody, Jason, Jeffery and Jennifer; great-grandson Oliver; half brothers Johann Aberl and Leopold Aberl, South America.

She was predeceased by her husband Ludwig Hans Haas.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 11am from The Church of the Nazarene in Trenton. Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Gairloch.
