He’d ask every time he had me near on the floor laughing . Had some real good laughs and many heart to heart conversations with Jim . He felt like home to all who came in his door . Grill a steak if you like he’d say , you lived here before . His number one priority was Janet . As long as she was looked after he was happy . Always looking for a way to help someone even on days where he may have needed some help himself . I was lucky to be able to be a caregiver but it was an absolute honour and a privilege to be his friend and he was just like Family , well not like he was chosen family .
Thank you Jim for cherished memories I’ll keep with me always , I’ll bring the 10 cents with me when I see you again .
Much love to Dear Janet , Kevin he thought the world of you both and all he wanted to see was Kevin to get his Les Paul guitar to do something for himself because he is a lot like Jim in many ways always helping others .
To Jim’s family & friends and chosen family I’m thinking of you he’d want us to laugh and of course have a yellow flower and perhaps a homemade biscuit . I couldn’t bake so it’s a wonder he kept me . He’d prank most of the girls ( caregivers , VON ) however I never got pranked - I did find that huge pretend spider he hid so he tried once . I looked forward to our time together and it surely is different now but best believe we have a laugh remembering the good along with these tears .
