Anne Barbara (Babin) Turner, 79, of the Glen Haven Manor, passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2026, after a long, hard battle with UTIs. She was the daughter of the late Albany & Bernadette (Boudreau) Babin.
Anne loved to play on the computer & to crochet lap blankets for seniors’ homes while relaxing, watching TV. She was also an avid sewer and gardener, with a beautiful garden of flowers.
She is survived by her son Ken (Laurie) Turner, daughter Lisa Turner, 3 loving grandchildren- Mikey (Michelle), Riley, & Cody, and 2 great grandchildren Stella & Huntley. She was also survived by siblings Claire, Marie, Margaret, Alphonse, Francis, Cecile, Leo, Clarence, and many nieces and nephews.
Anne was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Huntley, sister Matilda, brothers Elias & John, sister-in-law’s Tina & Beverly, and brother-in-law’s Jack & Elwin.
We would like to thank all the wonderful nurses, CCAs, and anyone else who took care of Mom at Glen Haven.
Visitation will be held at H.W. Angus Funeral home on Monday, January 26th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral will take place at the H.W Angus funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 27th at 2pm.
Donations in Mom’s name can be made to Glen Haven or to a charity of your choice.
