David Alan Miller Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Alan Miller on January 17, 2026, at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.


David was the son of Lawrence and Betty (Sample) Miller, and lived on Rutherford Street in Stellarton. He was the caregiver for his brother Claude, his mother, numerous neighbours, and friends. He was an excellent baker and loved doing puzzles. He walked for miles, pushing his brother in his wheelchair and talked to everyone he met on the way.


David is survived by brothers Earle Miller (Manitoba), Sandy (Alexander) Miller (Ontario), Claude Miller (Stellarton); sisters Donna Cyrenne (Manitoba), Erna Bernard (Stellarton), Helen Robson (Pine Tree), Peggy Johnson (Davy) (Millbrook), Betty Crews (Kevin) (Pictou).


He was predeceased by his parents, brothers William “Billy”, Lawrence “Butch”, Carl (Claude’s Twin); sisters Lynn Glover, Cathy Cullen; 5 siblings in infancy; and brothers-in-law Ron Cyrenne, Norman Robson, Paul Bernard.


Visitation will be held at the HW Angus Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 20 from 1-3pm, with a service to follow at 3pm with Rev. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be held in the Spring in Brookside Cemetery.
