Norwin (Nor) Alexander Kellock age 71, of New Glasgow formerly of Stellarton passed away on December 15, 2025 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late Norval and Winnie (Duff) Kellock.

Norwin was a resident of Stellarton most of his life. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton where he was a former Sunday School Teacher and worked as the janitor for several years. Prior to his job at the church, he worked at C.P. Smith, Zeller's and the Superstore in New Glasgow.

Norwin had bowled for several years in the CNR Bowling League and later in the Zeller's Bowling League. He was an avid sports fan who especially loved to watch the Montreal Canadians and the New York Yankees.

Norwin loved animals, enjoyed time spent reading, listening to music, playing golf and liked to watch a good movie.

Our family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of High-Crest Place, New Glasgow, for their gracious care and compassion for Norwin over this past year and the nurses and doctors at the Aberdeen Hospital (Emergency, 4th and 5th South and Palliative Care unit) for all their attention and care.

Much loved brother of Colleen (Rev. Charles) McPherson, New Glasgow; Cindy (Paul) Taylor, Plymouth Park; Norwin adored his niece Melissa (Terrel) Agar and nephew Matthew Taylor. Cherished great uncle of his great-nieces Teanna, Aryanna and great-nephew Mateo; he is also survived by uncle Sandy (Diane) Kellock, Plymouth; aunt Viola “Vi” Ross, Trenton; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by brother Shayne and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 6 – 9 pm on Monday, December 29 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 30 in First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall.
