Charles Duncan (“Charlie”), 66, of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Nov 7, 2025 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow on June 6, 1959, he was the eldest son of Frances (nee Oliver) and the late Gerald M. Kennedy.

Charlie is survived by his mother Frances; brother Gerald Jr., Edmonton, AB; twin sisters Margaret Ann Kennedy, Halifax, and Mary Beth Meerman (Bill), North Alton; niece Emily MacQuarrie (Dylan McLeod) and great nephew Liam, Eastern Passage; and uncle Melvin Oliver, New Glasgow.

Cremation has taken place, and internment will occur at the Abercrombie Cemetery. Donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice.
