Pelley, John Leonard - 68 passed away 14 November 2025. Born 13 August 1957 in Antigonish, NS.  John was the son of the late Jim & Edith (Davis) Pelley.

Surviving are his partner of 34 years Debbie Surette of New Glasgow, step children Nikki (Mike) Best, Justin (Stephanie) Surette, grandchildren Chloe, Bianca, Abigail & Shemar, Sister Anne (Eddy) Benoit and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Myrtle Hare & Dot MacPherson, brothers Charlie & Joseph Pelley & Kent in infancy. Brother in law John Hare.

John grew up in Guysborough and to many was known as a jack of trades, willing to help someone out if he could.  

There will be no service as per John's wishes but a donation in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society if you wish.
