Roderick Powell “Moose’ Urquhart age 69 of Pictou, formerly of New Glasgow passed away on November 13, 2025. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Arthur and Christine (Rogers) Urquhart.

Roddie worked for Pepsi for 36 years from where he retired. He loved time spent with his family, enjoyed family dinners, and enjoyed animals. Moose loved playing lob ball and coaching his hockey team. He was a loyal Boston Bruins fan and thought Boston was the only hockey team.

He is survived by his sisters Emily (Cyril) Robichaud, French River and Eleanor Wagg, Lower Sackville; he is also survived by several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 20 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, with Rev. Sam Graham officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery,
