Arwen Celeste Brinn

(May 2, 1981 - July 15, 2025)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arwen Celeste Brinn. She died peacefully in her sleep on July 15, 2025 at her home in Stellarton. She was born in Lac La Biche, Alberta and lived many places before settling in Nova Scotia. The family cottage was her favourite place to spend the summer, enjoying the outdoors from her rocking chair on the porch.

She loved celebrations of any kind, from Christmas with family to Canada Day fireworks. She was part of the Summer Street family in New Glasgow, where she worked for many years, and enjoyed bowling and spending time with her friends and support workers. She was an enthusiastic Star Wars fan and could often be found jamming along with every song on the radio.

She is survived by her mother Jean, her brother Peter (Brittni), her father Robert (Helen), and her long-term partner George. She will be greatly missed by her friend and careworker, Florence.

A public funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Andrews, New Glasgow (The Kirk).
