It is with great sadness that we announce Kathleen Theresa Heighton of Salt Springs, at age 69, passed away on May 26th at the Aberdeen Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert “Poke” Morrison and Gloria Shreenan of Stellarton.

Kay loved to go shopping. Kay loved yard sales as she loved to collect things. She adored spending time with her family, and she had a deep love for her dog Maggie. She had many friends in her life, and especially enjoyed spending time with her best friend Dina.

Kay is survived by her loving husband Tommy of 49 years, sons Kirk (Carla) and Scott (Sharla), grandchildren Dallas, Hannah, Tommy, and Payton, brother David Morrison and sister Marion “Toto” (George) Charlton.

She was predeceased by her brother Bobby Morrison.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
