Our family announces with great sadness the death at home of June Anne Marie Pereira of Stellarton on April 17th 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Lionel Pereira and Joy Pereira. June is survived by her three brothers Leo Pereira in Antigonish, Leon Pereira in Halifax and Leonid ( wife Ana) Pereira in Columbus, Ohio. She was an Aunt to her neices Justine Pereira, Jennifer Cloney, Jillian Pereira, Joy Pereira and Candice Carpenter and to her nephews Christian Pereira and Neil Pereira.
June was born in Dehli, India and came to Canada in 1967 and then to Nova Scotia in 1971. She graduated from Stellarton High School and then with a B. Com. From Dalhousie. She had worked for Michelin and for Fraser and Hoyt.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A Celebration of Life and burial of her cremains will be held at a later date.
