Obituary of Frederick George Fiefield

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frederick George “Frog” Fiefield on April 6, 2025 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton Fred was the son of the late Frederick and Agnes (Wallace) Fiefield. Fred was a lifelong resident of Stellarton. He worked for Allen’s Dairy and later Scotsburn Dairy from where he retired. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and good game of horseshoes. Fred also enjoyed going for long drives. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his brother-in-law Bernie MacNeil and will be remembered and missed dearly by all his nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his wife the former Shirley MacDougall, sisters Rita, Beverly Marian, Florence and Donna. The family would like to thank all the nurses in the LTC Unit and nurses and doctors in the Palliative Care Unit for the care shown to Fred while he was there. The family will receive visitors from 7-9 P.M. on Saturday, April 12th, in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton. A graveside service will be held at later date in the Brookside Cemetery. In lieu donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Pictou County Food Bank
