Obituary of Susan Lena Turnbull

It is with heavy hearts the family of Susan Lena Turnbull Pushie announce her passing on March 8, 2025 at the Glen Haven Manor.
She will be missed by many who knew her especially her daughter Lesa Turnbull, granddaughter Shawna, grandson Brad and great grandson Christopher who she was proud of and would show him off at the Glen Haven Manor. She loved when he would come to visit her it made her so happy, her love and laughter will also be remembered by all who knew her. She loved animals and collecting stuffed bears and would sleep with everyone of them. Susan had a love for music, she loved to sing and play guitar, loved spending time with her special granddaughter Shawna and grandson Brad.
She is predeceased by her husband John Turnbull of Stellarton; a sister Mildred Pushie, a brother Nathan Pushie, a baby sister Essie Marie, also her parents Fred Pushie of James Jiver and her mother Hazel Pushie Colpitts of New Brunswick.
Susan lived in Stellarton for many years and was born in James River, Antigonish Co., NS.
Susan is survived by her daughter Lesa Turnbull of Stellarton and sons Shaun, Shane and Jason, a grandson Brad Turnbull, granddaughter Shawna, great-grandson Christopher, a sister Dorothy Gratto of Shelburne, a brother Howard Pushie of Westville and many other family members.
The family would like to thank the Glen Haven Manor for all the care they gave her she truly loved it there and all the residents and caregivers.
The family has requested that a celebration of life for their loved one will be announced at a later time.
Donations in her memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or SPCA of Nova Scotia.
