Obituary of Tim Prosper

Prosper, Timothy Roger “Tim” -We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Son, Brother, Uncle, and Grand Uncle. Timmothy “Timmy” Roger Prosper who passed away peacefully March 3rd at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Caroline Prosper Martin, born in New Glasgow on June 11 1969. Timmy lived in the Riverview Home, Riverton for most of his life and was a member of the Pictou Landing First Nation Community where he was baptized at Our Lady Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in Pictou Landing First Nation. Timmy enjoyed car rides and loved learning about cars. He loved Powwow music and looking through books on classic cars. He would often go for drives with the Riverton staff including car shows and to see Christmas lights. Timmy would try a lot of different things including camping and bowling. He went to school at the New Glasgow High school to further his education while living at Riverton. Timmy is survived by his mother; Caroline, brothers; Kevin (Dawn), and Eddy (Lisa), nieces and nephews; Megan, Patrisha, Victoria, Edward, Chelsea, Kevin Riley as well as 10 great- grand nieces and nephews. His remains will rest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 6533 Pictou Landing Road after 2pm Thursday March 6th 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Saturday March 8th 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation with Father Godwin Kalu presiding. Meal and Salite to follow at the Pictou Landing First Nation School. Burial will be held at a later date in the spring.
