Sharon Elizabeth Hadfield Obituary

Sharon Elizabeth Hadfield

January 8, 1954 – February 21, 2025

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sharon Hadfield on February 21, 2025.

Born in New Glasgow and a long-time resident of Stellarton, Sharon was the daughter of Gerald and Gene Hadfield. Sharon was a strong, independent person who was social, creating a wonderful circle of friends and support through out her lifetime. She was a very organized person which served her well over her career as a finance administrator as a longtime employee of Ceilidh Honda and then Anchor Toyota. Sharon enjoyed relaxing in a beach chair in the summer sun and also enjoyed spending time reading. Sharon will be missed by her family and her numerous life-long friends.

She is survived by her sister Sherry Salmonson (Eric) and nieces Corey Ferguson (Chantal) and Lauren Vye (Kyle). She was predeceased by her brother Gary Hadfield, and her parents.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the care given to Sharon by the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.

As per Sharon’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. An intimate gathering for close friends and family will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. in the common room of The Dunkeld Apartment Building, 30 North Novie Drive, New Glasgow.
