Deborah Turner, age 72, formerly of Stellarton, passed away February 11, 2025 at the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Howard Alexander and Audrey Helen (Purcell) Salter.
A long-time, familiar figure around Stellarton, Debbie was often seen walking her dogs through town. Debbie also had a passion for home decorating that brought beauty and warmth to her surroundings. She spent her summers soaking up the sun and working on her tan. She loved indulging in a good book, often followed by a cozy nap. Shopping was another of her favorite pastimes, where she loved to explore and discover new treasures.
She is survived by daughters, Catherine (Andre) Perusse and Elizabeth Turner; beloved grandchildren, Audrey and Harry; brothers, Jack (Judy), Wayne, and Glenn (Carla).
She is predeceased by her parents; sister, Colleen; sister-in-law, Donna.
In honour of Debbie’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately. Flowers and donations are gratefully declined.
