Obituary
Obituary of Justin David Robar
Please share a memory of Justin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Justin David Robar, 26, of New Glasgow, on January 27th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 11th, 1998, in Edmonton, Alberta, to Roxanne Gail Adams and Craig David Robar (pre-deceased).
To know Justin was to truly understand what a Toronto Maple Leafs fan is. Justin was a lover of all types of music, especially Eminem. He also fell in love with many different parts of life, such as basketball, tattoos, animals, and hot sauce—the hotter the better—horror movies, and his strong spiritual belief.
Justin was wise beyond his years; he became the therapist of the family, always listening and supporting everyone, and his advice always rang true. With his quick wit, you could be crying at one moment, and then he could make you laugh the next moment. Justin, above all, had the gentlest heart and the softest of words. Justin, being the most warm and positive human being, you could ever meet, truly brought a light to everyone he touched.
There's no way to describe the relationship between Justin and Kane, "cousins closer than brothers," a bond that truly will never be broken. The simple things in life made easier by being around each other made these two kids grow up relying on each other more and more, becoming more than a family dynamic; it became a partner in crime. They are truly brothers, and the closest two people could ever be.
Beside his mom, Justin is survived by his cousin/"brother" Kane Miner, New Glasgow, Aunt Sissy Crystal (Dan) Robar, New Glasgow, Aunt Tara (Travis) Provost and Lily AB, Uncle Brian AB, and Uncle Jermey (Ashton) and Cory, River, and Selena AB, Grandparents Sue (Adams) Earle (AB), Everett Earle (pre-deceased), David Robar (Country Harbour), Pamela (Mason) Robar (pre-deceased), and Chosen "Big Sis" Kristine of Alabama.
A very large circle of family and friends. Till we meet again, Mom's boy.
A special thanks to Lynn Gray the EHS team, VON services, and all the amazing staff in the ICU.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
