She was the only daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Latimer. June worked as a switchboard operator in Ontario and also the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, N.S. She also cared for youngsters in her home in later years. She had a very dry sense of humor and we will cherish the memory of her unique personality. So many “June Moments” to make us smile. Our mom loved children and adored her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. We will miss you “Nanny June”. June is survived by her brother Earl Latimer of Collingwood, Ontario, her daughter Debbie Buck, Sylvester her 2 sons Stephen (Maria) Buck, Seafoam and Bradley Buck, New Hamburg, Ontario, grandchildren Daniel Buck, Sophie Peters, Emily (Mike) Buck-Morgan, Marcel and Peter Buck, Ryan and Katie Buck and 3 great grandchildren. Also, our deepest thanks to the caregivers and staff of Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou where Mom resided for the past few months.
