Very sad to hear this. Mike was one of a kind. I'm Don, and worked with Mike at his beginning of his survey job with the D.O.T. On his first survey crew I believe. He was the new guy, and we'd say "that's the way it is around here, new guy, give him the worst crew", and after a while, it was believeable lolol. Yes, Mike was the most meticulous man I ever seen. His books and numbers unimaginably perfect and clean. Any job with a 5 millimeter allowance had to b within a half mil including and during raging rain and snowstorms, lol.. He was good. I'll never forget a lot of our lunches. They were cool. And our totally opposites, laughs and good crews he had.. I'm sure I speak for all the crews.
