Doreen Webb age 86 of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Thorburn passed away on April 28, 2020 in the Glen Haven Manor. Born in Pembroke, Ontario she was a daughter of the late David and Myrtle (Lance) Brindle.
Doreen was a faithful member of the Jehovah Witness’s for the last 50 years.
She is survived by her, children: Cheryl (Henry) Young, Trenton; Joanne (Greg) Stewart, Thorburn; Clayton (Diane)Webb, Thorburn; Gwen (Glenn) Wilson, Trenton; Tim (Michelle) Webb, Westville; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sister Mamie Lefebvre and Linda Noble; brother Jack Brindle and numerous nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law: June (Buster) Mulligan, Bill Webb, Juanita Young, Joy (Alex) Fitzpatrick, Hazel White, Ray (Nancy) Webb, Gary (Margy) Webb.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob”, son Joel, granddaughter Kelsey Young, sisters Ellen (Jack) Farrell, Theresa (Frank) Wanbacker, Shirley (Bennie) Benedict, Dianne (Hubert) Taileffer, Edith Brown and Betty Brindle,; brothers Phillip Brindle, Johnny Brindle and Cyril Brindle; sisters-in-law Debbie Brindle, Jessie Webb and Em Webb; brothers-in-law Bob Noble, Carl Lefebvre, Bud Young, and Floyd Webb.
Cremation has taken place and due to the current restrictions due to Covid-19 burial will take place in the Thorburn Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to the staff of Glen Haven Manor and the V.O.N. for their exceptional care.
