Snell, Kendall Scott- It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Kendall Scott Snell of Mount William. He passed away at the Northumberland Veterans Unit in Pictou on November 9th, 2022. Born in New Glasgow and passed away at age 77. Ken worked very hard all of his life. He joined the Airforce at a young age and served his country for 34 years throughout Canada and Germany. He attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer and received many accolades over the course of his career. Upon retirement he and his family settled in Mount William where he drove school bus for many years. He spent his time volunteering in the community. He enjoyed golf, pool, fishing, and spending time in the woods. He loved sports and especially enjoyed attending Mooseheads games in Halifax. He was an excellent cook and passed his culinary skills onto his sons. Ken was a family man and loved his wife dearly. His two sons were his pride and joy. He would stop at nothing to ensure all where happy and taken care of, having been fortunate to witness their success in life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie; sons, Kendall and Nicholas (Laura). Brothers; Bruce (Joyce); Kevin (Sharon); Kerry (Karen); Chris (Mila); Phillip (Wendy); sisters Brenda (Danny deceased); Nancy (Ronnie); Heather (Charlie); Norma (Dale); Cara (Tim); sister-in-law Alma (Larry deceased); Shirley; brother-in-law Jim (Bonnie); Mark (Maryann). Several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Virginia Rose Snell and father Norman Snell; brother Kenneth Snell. Visitation will be held from 1 - 3pm Sunday November 13, 2022 at the H.W.
